Cast iron pan

Got a cast iron pan recently. Being a materials science person now, I decided to look up how these are made. This is how:

It's pretty friggin cool. They literally take scraps of dirty useless iron, purify it, mold it, and out comes a pan that makes really really delicious food. Like seriously, if you don't have a cast iron pan, you should get one, because it makes H-mart premarinated bulgogi that much better. Of course, I couldn't help but think of how perfect of a visual representation this was of what God does with us.

"But the Lord has taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be a people of his own inheritance, as you are this day."
- Deuteronomy 4:20
